Introduction to Arronia

Arronia is a large empire located on a continent of the same name. Imperial service is mandatory for all children on the Arronian continent starting at the age of 11 years old. Along the coasts of the empire, there are colossal sculptures of Arronian soldiers that were created to fend off the Drakes of the West in the early days of the empire. These have been dormant for over a couple of millennia. Sentinals are one of two ranks within the empire that have the option of having accompanying forces with them. They are sent out to resolve revolts, disputes, and diplomatic missions, and are equivalent in rank to a Northern, Southern, Eastern, or Western Commander, meaning they are able to take charge of any forces within the empire except the Imperial Guard. Every year, the people of Arronia come together to give remembrance to the fallen and to celebrate the fall of Rhondir. The Arun River spans from the Northern region of Arronia, following its way down to the Arronian capital city to the shore.

Arronian History/Lore

Before the empire, there were three kingdoms: the Northern Kingdom of "Skulvar," the Middle Kingdom "Erundir," and the Southern Kingdom "Arronda." Once the empire was created, each kingdom was named into its respective region, forming the great continent of Arronia. The Arun River connects all regions together, supplying trade and forces, though the river flows faster from north to south. Arronians have a tale of a blackened wolf with eyes of ember that is said to haunt the marshlands just off the Eastern shore of the Erundir region. Captains of Arronia have their own flag ship and figurehead. Sentinals and the Imperial Guard have the same sway within Arronia, and just below the Emperor, there are three Lords, one for each region. The Court of Silver, one of each region, governs the lands of Arronia and its territories.

Arronia is known for its powerful navy, with captains having their own flag ships and figureheads. The empire has a rich history, with its origins dating back to the early days when it was made up of three separate kingdoms: Skulvar in the north, Erundir in the middle, and Arronda in the south.
