introduction to dalandor

Dalandor is a large continent located on the same planet as the continent of Arronia. It has a long and tumultuous history, with no single kingdom or empire able to hold control over the entire landmass for more than a millennium. There are many diverse regions within Dalandor, each with their own unique characteristics and inhabitants.

The Snowmane Fjord is located in the northwest of Dalandor, and is known for its cold, harsh climate. The people who live in this region are hardy and resourceful, and are not to be underestimated. To the south of Dalandor lies the Quil'Nah Desert, a vast and mysterious expanse of sand and rock. It is said that this desert holds many secrets, including ancient, monolithic structures that seem to depict a civilization long abandoned.

In the east of Dalandor is the Kestrian Wastes, a twisted and corrupted region that is home to all manner of unholy creatures. It is said that a great mass of demonic energy resides in this region, corrupting everything it touches. To the west of Dalandor is the Port of Tel'Eve, a shared port that serves both Valandir and Arronia. This is a bustling hub of trade and commerce, and is a major gateway between the two continents.

Further north is the city of Varonda, home to the Varri, a race of dwarves who have made hunting the beasts of the open plains into a popular sport. The bigger and more dangerous the beast, the higher the status of the hunter.

Due west of the Port of Tel'Eve is the Hand of Qurin, a holy site home to the Order of Qurin, a group of devout individuals who are dedicated to their faith. The Mountain Pass of Morrowsong is a mountain range that stretches from the Kestrian Wastes to the Outlooks Bay.

It is home to the Murash Orcs, but it is said that even fouler things than orcs dwell within its peaks. Overall, Dalandor is a diverse and dangerous continent, full of many secrets and untold dangers. It is a place that few people ever venture to, and fewer still return from.
