introduction to the ashal
The Ashal are a race of dragon-like humanoids that were birthed from the errupting molten drake, Rhondir. They speak a language known as "Ash Tongue" or Skor Khar, where "skor" means "ash" or "to burn" and "khar" means "breath". Rhondir is considered the first molten drake and is composed of earth and fire essences.
Upon his death, he brought forth the Ashal, who are also aligned with earth and fire essences. The Ashal's dragon scales are incredibly tough and can only be pierced by enchanted weapons or vulperium (a type of metal). They hail from the Archipeligo of Rhondir, which is the errupted remains of Rhondir himself.
ashal lore
The Ashal have become hostile towards humans after welcoming them into their lands, only for the humans to insult them by stealing the golden idols from their sacred temples. Every blood moon, the Ashal gather at the Temple of Valarash to pay homage to Rhondir.
While the Ashal may appear tribalistic to the outside world, they are actually much more advanced than most races. One Ashal is equal in strength to 20 Arronian footmen. In combat, the Ashal will always aim to surround their enemies and then unleash a torrent of fire, incinerating them and making quick work of most foes.
