introduction to the dwarves

The Dwarves are a race of beings that inhabit the lands of Valandir and Kharesh, known as the IronFoot and the Highhorn respectively. They are a proud and hardworking race, with a deep affinity for the essence of earth, which they use to create their homes and craft their works.

It is common for Dwarves to choose a profession at a young age and spend their lives honing their skills until they reach mastery. Many Dwarves are content to remain within their own communities, dedicating themselves to their craft and living a peaceful, simple life. However, there is also a small faction of Dwarves that reside within Dalandor, although they are not known to have any contact with the other factions.

dwarven lore

Dwarven structures are known for their durability, as they are often coated with a mineral called Milinith which can negate dragon fire. It is customary for visitors to bring a gift before entering a Dwarf's home, as a sign of respect and goodwill. Nearly all Dwarven factions wear bulked armor, which is usually coated with Milinith as well. The weapon of choice for an average Dwarf is a warhammer, which often bears the emblem of their faction on either side.

Dwarves are a hospitable race and take their duties of hospitality very seriously. However, they also have a strong sense of honor and pride, and if one were to make an enemy of a Dwarf, the feud could last for generations.
