introduction to the elves
The Elves are a race of beings that are native to the floating islands of Aldora and Shal Darah, as well as a number of smaller islands surrounding these two main islands. They are known for their exceptional skills in enchanting and their abilities with Life Essence. According to their mythology, the Elves were created by the Life Dragon Delinar, which gives them a natural affinity for Life Essence and allows them to have long lifespans.
The Elves are a highly advanced race and are known for their technological and magical advancements. They are also highly skilled in archery and in the use of Life Essence, using these abilities to maintain their lands and protect themselves from external threats. The Elves view themselves as higher beings due to their connection with Life Essence and their long lifespans, which has sometimes led to tensions with other races. However, not all Elves hold this belief and many are friendly and open to interacting with other races.
elven lore
The capital island of Shal Darah is home to the High Lord Valanar, who is currently the oldest Elf in existence at 11,128 years of age. The Elves follow a strict training regimen, spending the first 2,000 years of their lives learning and mastering their chosen profession, which can be either enchanting, archery, or essence binding.
Some Elves, however, choose to focus on more than one of these areas of expertise. One of the most well-known events in Elf history is the betrayal of Lord Del'an of Shal Darah by Andral, which did not end well for Del'an. Despite this, the Elves have a rich and varied history, with many notable achievements and contributions to the world of Aldora.
