introduction to gore’dross
Godrin Guildheart, also known as Gore'Dross, was a captain in the Arronian Empire. He was known for his skill with his iconic Warhammer and his bravery in battle. In 531 AE, he fought in the Battle of Shades against an invading force of demons.
Despite being ordered to hold off the demons until reinforcements arrived, they never came and Godrin and his troops were overrun. In his final moments, Godrin felt forsaken and lost his resolve, leading him to be led to Xerross after his death.

In Xerross, Godrin fell to the maddening whispers of his demise and his soul was corrupted, resulting in his transformation into Gore'Dross. As the Guardian of the Abyss, Gore'Dross is responsible for weeding out unworthy souls before the Trials begin. He serves Zeth and is tasked with ensuring that only those worthy of undergoing the Trials are allowed to proceed.
Gore'Dross is a formidable opponent, known for his skill with his Warhammer and his ability to wield Void Essence. In life, he fought bravely at the Battle of Khathix, holding the shores for over 5 days before the Empire arrived. However, despite his bravery and determination, he was ultimately forsaken by his commanders and doomed to his fate as Gore'Dross.
