malifice lore

Malifice is bound to both Fire and Void Essence, allowing him to manipulate the beings and souls he encounters. He appears as a demon-human hybrid, a result of his race as a Shade and his affinity for Void Essence.

Malifice's duty is to purify the present of a soul, binding it to stasis in Xerross. He does not fight directly, instead summoning beings of flame to purify his opponents. As a being of Void, Malifice has the ability to portal through space, though this requires a significant amount of energy to maintain for long periods of time.

Malifice met his demise at the hands of Andral during the Trial of the Halls of Redemption in Xerross. Despite his power, he was unable to overcome Andral and was defeated.
